Student Loans Available

Need help with the cost of higher education?

There are several types of loans available to Iowans at www.studentloan.org. The site provides comprehensive information about the different ways of paying for college, such as the types of financial aid, federal student loans (also known as FAFSA), private student loans and special savings available to you – and much more.

Plus, most if not all the forms you need for your student’s application process are downloadable from the same site.

Before getting started with the loan application, though, you — together with your student — will want to check out Iowa’s College Access Network at www.icansucceed.org.

It’s a handy site to use to assist your student in reaching his or her educational goals.
